Leading Research Center on Quantum Computing (agreement No. 014/20) Enacted

In the first quarter of 2020, our joint large-scale project was approved to form a National Center of Excellence for Quantum Computing as part of the nations Digital Economy Program. The Leading Research Center on Quantum Computing (agreement No. 014/20) was formed through a collaboration from Principle Investigator’s from the Russian Quantum Center (RQC), the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) and the Lebedev Physical Institute (FIAN). RQC is the primary project coordinator with Skoltech responsible for the theory, development and implementation of quantum enhanced algorithms. The project seeks to demonstrate quantum enhanced algorithms on experimental platforms inside the Russian Federation, with special emphasis placed on trapped ion implementations. RQC[…]
